Serviceberries! /Amelanchier/ genus, of some sort. At the Union Mills housing development. Happy to see these used as landscaping when they redeveloped the site. We ate handfuls of the berries on the way to & from dinner in Hampden. They taste like a combo of blueberries and fruit punch.
One of the library branches have these, too. I'd better check up on those soon.
