After 3 trips to the MVA just to change my name on the car's registration, it's done. One trip to find there's a problem to fix, two more to get tossed around & told to go to the self-serve kiosk, even after I asked twice at the Info Booth. Last time was same: Go To Kiosk. Long wait. Doesn't have name change as an option! Back at Info Booth, finally explained "You only need a duplicate reg. The name on it was already changed when you changed your license! You can print it online, too, you know." 😡😤😖🌋

So all I had to do is click my heels 3x, pay $5, and there's no place like home?!!!!!

BTW I checked online before I started. It said I had to show up in person for a name change.

FYI online its under Registration Renewal->Duplicate Registration. Totally obvious.

I went to the MVA Express kiosk to change my address and realized that one could change their name there. Who knew you could do it online and even print it??

Somewhat related, funny thing is that even though my weight on my license is wrong (says 285 instead of 185 at the time, it was a fat finger that I didn't catch until later). I can't change that part, and yet I've been given flack for my weight being so off.
