The
divorce decree arrived in the mail today. Earlier than estimated, but
at least the Post Office didn't lose it like they did my contact lens
order.
Checked with Michael, he got his, too (keep up the good work, USPS).
I'm off work this week. I guess tomorrow I'll begin the process of changing my name back. Might as well while I have the time.
I was quite a wreck this morning, but I had to pull myself together to prep for a dinner party I was hosting. Then the mail came, & oddly, getting the decree calmed me down more.
I've only got a quiet feeling of sad sourness left about the whole thing.
