Today on the NCR: Groundhog! and Indian Pipe plants.
The groundhog was completely unconcerned that I was within 3ft. It actually moseyed right past me to get to a more luscious clump of greenery. It was nowhere near dusk yet.
The Indian Pipe plants were further up the trail. They are plants that lack chlorophyll, not fungi. I had never seen them in person before.
