Finally
got my new Mac in, set up, and my tons 'o crap transferred to it. The
Migration Assistant has gone downhill, old Mac couldn't find new Mac
until several reboots of each. Details of packaging and interface during
setup are getting cluttered. The legalese & disclaimers are too
obvious, and the "experience" is getting a sense of lawyer-creep and
losing its Art-for-Art's-sake Zen aesthetic. Steve Jobs would have had a
great day of yelling & firing people over these interface klunkers.
Yosemite looks weird & flat, too, but I know they're competing with the new Google Paper look. I kinda miss the shiny-hard-candy-lickable interfaces of early OS X.
