needs minor hernia repair. The surgeon insists on a cardiology consult
appt. before the surgery. Ok, I'm fine with that. I manage to get off
work for the cardiologist & the day of surgery, no prob.
What I am now losing my shit over is the cardiology appt. has spawned into 2 more appts./tests over 2 days! Now how am I expected to get off work for those?!
The problem isn't Dad's in decline, or he's sick, or even the paperwork: the problem is US healthcare can't coordinate anything anymore & assumes you'll drop the rest of your life to suit their whims. Why couldn't all these cardiology needs be lumped into one big day of tests?
