Dad. Too depressing to share the usual details. Him not being the the
dementia ward, but stuck in a room, has removed most of his social
opportunities. It also means he's not under the watchful eye of a nurse
all the time. This adds up to an almost neglectful situation, you can
imagine....
I brought things to the attention of the nurses. I fed him his dinner. I cleaned him up, dressed him, & put him in bed.
I went home and just wanted the house to be empty & everything to stand still. But it wasn't, & didn't, of course.
